Terms and Conditions of Sale
House Rules
Hotel Le Stanley

Any guest of Hotel Le Stanley acknowledges having read these terms of sale and the establishment's house rules. Accordingly, the guest accepts all of these clauses without reservation.

Booking conditions

1.       Guarantees

Any booking must be confirmed either by fax or by e-mail, and must be accompanied by a valid credit card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex).

2.       Deposits

A deposit will be required at the time of booking :

Stay of 1 to 6 nights :

Payment of the full stay,

Stay of 7 nights or more :

50% of the amount of the selected package, with the balance payable on arrival.

Deposits are paid directly on our website via the “EPAY-NC” system (secure online payment).

3.       Check-In procedure

The guest must be of legal age and must not be under guardianship or curatorship.

On arrival, the guest will be required to:

  • Fill out the check-in form and the pre-authorisation slip for charges to their bank card,

  • Submit a copy of a valid form of identification,

    Pay the amount or balance due for their entire stay.

4.       Number of occupants 

At the time of booking, the number of people who will occupy the accommodation, as well as the children's ages, will be requested.

The Hotel reserves the right to retain the deposit amount in the event of unauthorised over-occupancy.

Arrival – Departure

1.       Times                    

Apartments are available from 2 pm and must be vacated no later than 11 am on the day of departure.

For any arrival or departure outside these times, please contact reception.  Beyond these times and, depending on availability, access to the accommodation units may be granted  and may result in  an additional charge.

Bookings  are guaranteed until 7 pm. After this time, and without notice of a late arrival, the hotel reserves the right to re-let the apartment.

2.       Deposit

A deposit will be required on arrival, including for guests whose stay is being covered.

 The deposit may be paid in cash or by VISA credit card (deposit charged on arrival, then credited back on the day of departure) in the amount of 10,000 CFP or 30,000 CFP, depending on the category of apartment booked. 

Conditions of stay

1.       Stay changes 

Any extension of stay (subject to availability) must be prepaid  in accordance with the selected package.

Failure to comply with this condition will expose the guest to charges at the public rate.

No retrospective rate adjustment will be made in the event of a change to the stay dates.

An early departure cannot give rise to any refund whatsoever.

2.      Cancellation of stay

Any cancellation of booking must be made by fax or by e-mail. The date of receipt of the fax or e-mail will be the reference date  for taking the cancellation into account.

In the event of cancellation, the deposit paid will be refunded (after deduction of any bank charges) under the following conditions :

  • 100% if the cancellation is made more than 30 days before the arrival date.

  • 50% if the cancellation is made between 15 and 29 days before the arrival date.

  • 25% if the cancellation is made between 7 and 14 days before the arrival date.

  • No refund will be made if the cancellation is made less than 7 days before the arrival date or in the event of a no-show (booking not cancelled).

In the event of a delay  of more than 24 hours, the Hotel reserves the right to re-let the room.

Damage / Deterioration / Theft

Any damage to the premises or to the equipment and furniture  that equip the apartments or common areas is the responsibility of the guest. The guest is responsible for the actions of the people staying with them or visiting them.

The Hotel reserves the right to cash the deposit paid on arrival and recharge the guest for the cost of repair or replacement.

The apartments are fully equipped (crockery, appliances, bedding, etc.) ; upon arrival, the guest must check the condition  of the premises and the proper functioning of the household appliances. Accordingly, they must report to reception any damage or missing items. On departure, in the absence of proof to the contrary, the guest may be considered responsible and must therefore reimburse the costs incurred.

The accommodation units are made available to the guest in a perfectly maintained condition, and the guest shall use them with due care.

The establishment reserves the right to enter the (rented) apartments for maintenance, inspection and/or security reasons.

House rules

Rates

Rates are subject to change without notice and only the price stated in the booking confirmation is guaranteed. 

Respect for others

Any guest who disturbs the peace of other residents in any way whatsoever must immediately leave the establishment and will not be entitled to any compensation or refund, nor to the return of the deposit paid on arrival.

The same will apply  in the following cases :

  • damage to equipment and facilities,

  • discourteous behaviour towards another resident or the establishment's staff,

  • conduct contrary to good morals and the establishment's reputation,

  • drunkenness,

  • consumption and/or possession of illicit substances.

Since 21 February 2013, smoking has been prohibited in all public places. This law also applies to rooms and apartments in hotel establishments. An exemption has been granted to Hotel Le Stanley to allow guests to smoke on balconies and terraces. Smoking is strictly prohibited in the apartments for obvious safety and comfort reasons.

Smokers are therefore requested to smoke only on terraces and balconies. Failure to comply with this ban exposes the guest to  a fine, and compensation equivalent to 50% of the displayed public rate for one-night stays. For stays longer than one night, compensation will be equal to 30% of the amount of the stay according to the accommodation package chosen (restoration of the apartment). If this offence is noted after the guest's departure, the compensation will be charged to the guest's credit card.

Out of respect for the rest of other guests, please do not slam doors or make noise, particularly between 10 pm and 8 am. Any festive event is therefore strictly prohibited in the accommodation units.

The Hotel reserves the right to refuse any future booking in the event of non-compliance with these  rules.

Additional charges (Extras)

Additional charges (telephone, Internet, shop, laundry, catering, etc.) must be settled weekly and/or from an amount of 20,000 CFP. Late payment may result in credit suspension.

Keys

When leaving the apartment, the guest must leave the keys at reception. An amount of 10,000 CFP will be charged in the event of loss of the apartment keys (lock replacement).

Doing our bit for the planet

For reasons of economy and ecology, guests are asked to switch off the lights, various electrical appliances (television, computer, etc.) and air conditioning when they are away from the apartment. The key holder used as the electrical switch in the suite-apartments must under no circumstances be detached and left in the box during the guest's absence.

Pets

Our animal friends are welcome at Hotel Le Stanley.

Only one pet is accepted per accommodation, subject to a contribution of 2,000 F.XFP per day and provided that it does not affect the peace and safety of guests, and that basic hygiene rules and the integrity of the facilities are respected. It must be kept on a lead at all times. Pets are not allowed near the pool or in dining areas, and must under no circumstances be left alone and unsupervised in the apartments.

Valuables

The hotel accepts no responsibility in the event of theft in the apartment ; for valuables (cash, jewellery), safes are kindly made available to you 24/7 at reception.

Studio and suite cleaning

Cleaning of our studios and suites is carried out according to the selected package. Any additional cleaning, change of sheets or towels remains the guest's responsibility. For rates, please contact reception. 

For hygiene reasons, you are asked to take out your rubbish outside the scheduled cleaning days. A room is provided for this purpose, next to the car park.

Car park

Car parks are free and unattended. The hotel accepts no responsibility in the event of any damage or  theft committed to vehicles parked in the car parks. However, certain precautions may prevent such inconvenience, notably by leaving nothing visible in the vehicle that could attract attention.

Pool access conditions

PRIVATE POOL, RESERVED EXCLUSIVELY FOR GUESTS OF THE ESTABLISHMENT - UNSUPERVISED SWIMMING

POOL OPENING HOURS : 07:00 – 19:00

The pool can pose a serious danger to your children. Drowning can happen very quickly.

Children near a pool require your constant vigilance and active supervision, even if they can swim.

USE OF THE POOL IS ENTIRELY AT THE CLIENTELE'S OWN RISK

THE MANAGEMENT ACCEPTS NO RESPONSIBILITY IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT OCCURRING IN OR AROUND THE POOL

Pool access is regulated: 
  • For hygiene reasons, T-shirts, shorts and trousers are prohibited; only swimwear is permitted ;

  • Wearing shoes and thongs is strictly prohibited around and in the pool ;

  • Showering and using the footbath are mandatory before swimming ;

  • Running around the pool is strictly prohibited;

  • Food consumption is prohibited ;

  • Alcohol consumption is strictly prohibited ;

  • Access to the pool is prohibited to anyone under the influence of alcohol;

  • For safety reasons, glass containers are strictly prohibited ;

  • Balls are prohibited;

  • For hygiene reasons, animals are prohibited ;

  • For safety reasons in the corridors, it is mandatory to dry yourself before leaving the pool.

Hotel liability

The hotel's liability cannot be engaged in the event of damage to or theft of personal belongings, whether in the accommodation or in the common areas. 

It is the guest's responsibility to take all necessary measures regarding the security of the property in their care, in particular by checking that the glass doors and front door are properly closed when the guest is away.

Complaints

Any possible complaint during the stay must be reported immediately to Reception. Failing this, and after the guest's departure, the stay will be considered to have gone well and may not give rise to any subsequent claim.

Wi-Fi access

The guest has the option of having an internet connection via Wi-Fi. The user must not use the service fraudulently, abusively or excessively, such as, in particular, the deliberate or accidental congestion of mail servers by unsolicited bulk email or certain types of downloads (works protected by copyright such as photographs, musical works, audiovisual works, software and video games). If the guest fails to comply with the above obligations, they may be accused of copyright infringement (Article L.335-3 of the Intellectual Property Code), punishable by a fine and a term of imprisonment.
