Here’s an original and unforgettable idea! Noumea Skydive offers introductory tandem parachute jumps above Kuendu Beach in Noumea.
Presentation and sequence of events: when in possession of your Open ticket, head to Kuendu Beach on the Nouville peninsula where our shuttle will take you to Magenta airfield. After a briefing lasting a few minutes on the kit and how to behave during the skydive and for landing, board the plane, take off for a 25-minute flight, flying over bays, islets, the lagoon and coral barrier reef at a minimum height of 3,000 metres, then directly over Kuendu Beach, a skydive with 30 to 40 seconds of free-fall at 200 km/hr, attached to the qualified instructor, parachute deployed at 1,500 m, then enjoy the descent under the canopy of the parachute, floating back down for 4 to 7 minutes, in front of the lagoon. Each participant receives a certificate. The full round trip takes about 1 hour 15 minutes; no medical certificate is required other than for people aged over 60; authorisation by both parents required for minors (minimum age 10).
